LCC India at a Glance
India is a 3rd World Country with population over 1.2 Billion. As per World Bank, 1/3rd poor in the entire World lives in India. As per The Hindu, 242 men and 129 women commit suicide every day. As per UNICEF, there are 31 million orphans, and, 60000 children are human trafficked every year. While poverty and lack of basic needs to live are on one side, lack of hope and despair are on the other side. LCC India is a group of people both in India and USA came together to provide a platform to meet the need on both the sides through not only bringing physical help but also establishing relationships at personal level, uplifting the value of a person irrespective of his/her circumstances, and most importantly, enabling them to last for eternity. Our inspiration comes from the love of God: the love that sacrifices His one and only Son (John 3:16), teaches that God is Love (1 John 4:8), that everyone is made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and that showing mercy to the poor, the sick and the needy is ministering to Him personally (Matthew 25:35-40)
